Thanks to you, we’ve restored the depot!

September 10, 2015 we officially dedicated the depot as a historic landmark. The Port Hope Depot restoration project was a huge success due to countless hours of volunteer help and the generous donations from the local community.

How about a cargo room?

The Friends of the Port Hope Railroad Depot is refurbishing the depot's cargo area, a historically significant trade and transportation hub.

The project includes artifact display cabinets and wall-mounted storyboards to guide visitors through the town's history. A key feature is the installation of model train sets, offering an interactive experience of a bygone era.

Community donations and volunteer workers have helped make this depot and other historic sites around Port Hope possible. You can help out by making a donation online or becoming a member by downloading the printable form below.
